While i may be writing the post nearly 2 years later, I think it is important to include our Glacier trip in the blog. This trip was the first "real" trip with the new travel trailer and was one of my favorite places to visit. The combination of lack of cell signal and the retirement of the Blogger mobile app made me forget to post anything here.
We spent 4 nights in West Glacier. One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. very convenient and lots to do on the west side of Glacier.
The final 3 nights were spent on the East side. While I preferred the west side, being on the east side allowed us easy access to the Many Glacier and Two Medicine areas. These are definitely worth visiting. They cannot be accessed from the Going to the Sun Road, but they are much less busy, and the scenery is amazing!
We did some rowing; It is nice to have some help along so I could just sit back and relax :)
The kids all became Junior Rangers. We have done this many times now at the parks we have visited. It is always a fun way to learn more about each National Park.
We took a day to head over to Whitefish and pick Huckleberries. While we may not have came back with a ton, they were delicious!!
