We are staying at a hippy camp

We  woke up and went for a quick hike to a waterfall. It was a short hike but gave us a chance to see the Elwha River part of the park. Then we visited the visitor center in town. Before we left we return a crab pot buoy that we found on the beach the night before.

On the drive we stopped at fort worden state park near port Townsend. I took a rest in the camper and everyone else explored the fort.
The drive from there was some of the more stressful driving we have had. Traffic, a toll bridge, a couple of guys smoking crack under a tree like it was normal, and lots of windy mountain roads. That said we got to our hippy camp (Mary booked the site on hipcamp.com). It is actually a nice site. Real close to the entrance to the park and quiet. Interesting but nice.
We arrived in time for a quick supper and we headed into the park. We got some nice views and figured out a game plan.
